Interlab Circuit for releasable TCA analysis

Since 2005, the Colombin Laboratory is a member of the Interlab analysis circuit to refine the method for the analysis of releasable TCA from cork.

The circuit uses 6 pairs of samples with unknown concentration per year (normally between 1 and 10 ng/L). These samples are sent to all participating laboratories which then send the results to a collection centre. The results are statistically analysed and a report with the accuracy of the measurement is sent to each participant.

The results obtained by the Colombin Laboratory, shown in the chart below, are very satisfactory and confirm both the efficacy of the analytical method used and the high sensitivity and accuracy of the analyses performed in our labs.
